“The only reason anyone is unhappy is because they’re not being fully who they are.” (Bill Bauman)
Think about it . . . remember the last time you were unhappy and think about what was happening in your life. Were you living fully from your essence, your inner knowing?
Being unhappy is an alarm that goes off to alert you, to let you know that you’re veering off course. When you’re unhappy, instead of lamenting your situation, pick your head up and look to see where you are. Are you following your knowing? Are you living authentically?
Once you are certain you’re on track, then ask yourself if you’re living fully . . . in other words, are you being all that you are here to be or are you holding yourself back? Sometimes, even when we’re on course, we can be unhappy because we’re playing small.
You are a vast spiritual being residing in a limited, 3-D human body, and yet it is possible to feel your power and fullness — and this comes from living truly and authentically, expressing your greatness in the world, and living on purpose.
The next time you feel unhappy, do a systems check. Identify what it would look like, feel like, be like to express yourself fully, to live from your deepest center, to express your power and to benefit the world with your wonder. And then do it — and watch your happiness return!
