So many people are going through times of great change, whether from health crises, financial reversals (some into the red, some into the black), or other tremendous shifts in their internal landscapes or external environments. It seems no one is left unaffected by the wave of change that is washing through humanity right now.
So what can you do when your world turns upside down, when things aren’t the way you’ve always known them to be, and when your previously-held beliefs and perspectives are no longer working? I don’t have THE answer, but I have AN answer that has worked for many…and that is to go within to a feeling state of love.
Drop into your heart and feel your love for others, for animals, for yourself, for nature, for God, for anyone or anything that you love. From this feeling state of love, it is easier to put everything else in perspective.
“Love is an abstract noun, something nebulous. And yet love turns out to be the only part of us that is solid, as the world turns upside down and the screen goes black.” (Martin Amis) Love is a solid place to reside, a foundation from whence you can see things clearly, and sense your connection to all of life.
Love is real and true. And when you reside in that space of love, you can take in the world with a clear lens and place things in their proper perspective.
I am reminded of people who are leaving this world, crossing over to spirit, and all they see is love, all they care about is love…in fact, they look back at their lives and only want to talk about the love. And that is because, at that moment, they are seeing life clearly and accurately — and love is what matters.
So when you feel overwhelmed by things shifting and changing in your life, remember to fall back into that feeling space of love, where you can know what’s real and true, even when your world has turned upside down.

absolutely.
Joss,
Thanks for your lovely comment.
